WebMar 19, 2011 · Sometimes a chick needs a little longer to get up and going. If it just hatched, leave it in the incubator and keep an eye on it for a while. If it doesn't improve, you can try some sugar water to give it a boost. Edited to add: Make sure it is not getting trampled by other chicks.
